Top 5 trap albums you have to get in 2019

Trap has been taking the music industry by storm in recent years, so it’s no surprise that many audiophiles have been turning to trap for the best listening experience. Say what you want about the genre, but it definitely gets you moving. Trap records have been hitting the top charts consistently over the last couple of years, so here’s our pick for the top 4 trap albums that you absolutely have to get and listen to in 2019.

5. Logic - Confessions of a Dangerous Mind

Released in May the 20th of this year, Logic’s Confessions of a Dangerous Mind has so many features that it simply can’t go below our radar. Though the rapper wouldn’t exactly classify his music as trap, it’s no secret that his beats have been booming with bass and snares just like the ones you’d hear on trap records.

4. Lil Pump - Harverd Dropout

The title of this album is pretty funny in it of itself. It certainly catches your eye when you’re looking through the charts. It was released in February of 2019 and it has dominated the charts when it came out. People just love listening to Lil Pump for some reason and that’s one of the main reasons why he’s on this list. We can discuss musical prowess another time.

3. Future - SAVE ME

Coming in at number 3 is Future’s “SAVE ME” album. This one really took a dark turn for this artist’s career, who has always been about money, women, and cold hard cash, and maybe a bit of drugs as well. Either way, this new album has been about some pretty dark topics and it seems to be something that you’d hear from XXXTentacion as well. All in all, it made our list.

2. 2 Chainz - Rap or Go to the League

Has been rocking the rap game for a long, long time. He has been one of the pioneers when it comes to the trap sound we all know and love today. Surprisingly, he still hasn’t stopped releasing new music, and his newest album, released back in June, proves that he’s still got it and that he’s still in the game.

1. Denzel Curry - ZUU

Though he’s not as big of a name as the other artists featured on this list, Denzel Curry’s “ZUU” has been one of the most critically acclaimed trap albums of the year, so you better know that we had to include it on here. He delivers some amazing flow coupled with some of the best beats that the industry has heard in a while and he deserves the number one spot on our list.
