As of today, 07/09/2021 Wizkid's Made In Lagos peaked at no. 77 on it's 10th week on the Billboard 200 chart making it the longest charting Afrobeat Album on Billboard. The album which was released on 30th of October 2020 after a long anticipation. The album was highly received by fans both in Nigeria and around the world.
In it's first week of release, some of the singles from the album that peaked chart were; Ginger Me featuring Burnaboy, Blessed featuring Damian Marley, Essence received the most attention after months which earn it a remix in the deluxe version of Made in Lagos. Essence also spotlighted featured artist Tems which earn her a collaboration in the recently release album by Drake, certified Lover boy.
Made in Lagos has not spotlighted only Wizkid but also every artist associated to the album both the producers and engineers.
